Cookie policy
This policy explains how Voyino uses cookies and similar technologies on voyino.com.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) by a website when you visit it. It lets the site remember information about your browsing — such as your preferences, or the fact that you are logged in — in order to improve your experience.
Cookies do not contain viruses and cannot run malicious code on your device. They are strictly limited to the data explicitly stored in them.
2. Cookies used by Voyino
2.1 Strictly necessary technical cookies
Voyino uses only technical cookies strictly necessary to the operation of the Platform. These cookies collect no data for advertising or profiling purposes.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sb-[ref]-auth-token | Supabase authentication session (keeps you logged in) | Session, or 30 days if "stay signed in" |
voyino_cookie_consent | Records that you acknowledged this information | 180 days |
These cookies are set by Supabase (authentication) and directly by Voyino (banner acknowledgement).
2.2 Marketing and analytics cookies
Voyino currently uses no marketing, advertising or analytics tracking cookie.
There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, and no other third-party tracking tool on voyino.com to date.
3. Why there is no blocking consent banner
Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC), prior consent from the User is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to the operation of the service.
As Voyino only uses essential technical cookies, we are not required to display a blocking consent banner or to ask for your prior authorisation before setting them.
We nevertheless display a transparent information banner on your first visit, so that you know about this practice.
4. Future changes — if analytics are added
Should Voyino add audience analytics or tracking tools in the future (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.), we commit to:
- Updating this cookie policy.
- Putting in place a prior consent banner compliant with the GDPR and the CNIL guidelines.
- Setting no non-essential cookie without your explicit, informed consent.
- Informing you of any change by email.
5. How to disable cookies
You can configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Here is where to look in the main browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Privacy, search and services → Cookies
Please note: disabling essential technical cookies makes authentication impossible on the Platform. You will no longer be able to log in to your Voyino account.
6. Cookie lifetime
| Type | Duration |
|---|---|
| Session cookies | Deleted when the browser closes |
| Persistent login cookies | 30 days maximum (with the "stay signed in" option) |
| Banner acknowledgement cookie | 180 days (6 months) |
7. Changes to this policy
Any substantial change to this cookie policy will be notified to you by email and through a notice on the Platform. The date of the last update is shown below.
For any question about cookies, contact us at contact@voyino.com with the subject "Cookies — [your question]".
